Hothouse 1 - False Saints

An elegiac requiem, False Saints is an abstract examination of society's misplaced deification of architecture and urbanization in the modern world, and the impact of that disjunction on our relationship to nature. This is Sutherland's professional debut and was made for Hothouse 1, the NFB's program for emerging filmmakers, whose central theme was "Water and Our Relationship to It.".
